World Vegan Month – Vegan Food Goodies Delivered to Your Door in Dubai.
Veganism – once a niche market is fast becoming a part of the mainstream even here in Dubai! From the explosion of non-dairy milk hitting our coffee shops to celebrity advocates and Netflix features all grappling with the movement, the word ‘Vegan’ is fast becoming a household staple the world over – In the UK alone, the number of people following a plant-based diet has risen a staggering 340% ! And whilst the UAE is certainly a few steps behind the likes of the UK and USA when it comes to accessible vegan food products, it currently stands as the world’s second fastest growing vegan market. Yep! you read that right (growing 10.4% per year), which means lots more options for our Dubai based Homies.

BONUS – VEGAN FESTIVITIES!
NEWS JUST IN! In time for World Vegan Day, the beloved British retailer Marks and Spencer is launching their largest ever selection of plant-based Christmas food!
Get your all-time traditional favourites such as vegan mince pies, and ‘Made Without Dairy Thins, Caramels & Chocolates’ and more-ish party nibbles such as their all-new Mini No Chicken Kievs and Mac & Cheese Bites from the Plant Kitchen range to keep you going whilst waiting up for Santa.
Of course, you don’t need to be vegan to enjoy a plant-based diet or partake in animal-free dining. According to the UN, farmed livestock contributes the same amount of greenhouse gas emissions as the exhaust emissions of every car, train, ship and aircraft on the planet! But if we all went vegan, the world’s food-related emissions would drop by 70% by 2050. So whilst your fridge might seem an unlikely setting for the fight against global warming, it turns out its contents (or lack thereof) can become one of the most powerful tools we have for this Earth’s survival.
Whether you’re vegan, or not, perhaps this month is the best time to give it your best shot at lowering your footprint one consciously delicious bite at a time. We’d love it if you’d share your favourite go-to vegan food brands and businesses below or tag @homeclubme in your vegan foodie posts for a re-share.
