Enjoy 100 Free Virtual Workshops From The Comfort Of Your Home
Enjoy more than 100 free virtual workshops and masterclasses from the comfort of your own living room, with a new ‘stay at home’ initiative that includes mindful flower arranging, nutritional cooking advice, kids’ crafts, business advice, and yoga for all levels.
Running for two weeks from Monday 11th May, people from all over the world can tune in, watch and interact with experts from a wide range of industries, including fitness, food, interiors, fashion, beauty, business, mental health and parenting, using the video conference calling app Zoom.
Inspired by the global COVID-19 lockdown, TishTash, a Dubai-based beauty, health and wellness agency, has teamed up with experts and instructors across the region who will share insightful, practical and mindful advice and tips virtually. The aim of the innovative ‘stay at home’ initiative is to help ease the boredom for those who are isolating at home during the coronavirus pandemic, and to offer those people a chance to socialise, learn and feel inspired with likeminded people online.
The duration of each class ranges from 30 minutes to one hour, with three to eight classes every day, until Sunday 24th May.
Our highlights from the packed two-week schedule includes a masterclass in the art of decluttering, to help with mental and physical stress, brought to you by decluttering coach Saahil Mehta on Tuesday 12th May; nutritional home cooking advice from Manisha Advani, nutritionist and founder of Soul Santé Café, on Saturday 16th May; a calming meditation class on Monday 18th May, hosted by Kyra van den Berg, a spiritual healing coach; a soothing flower workshop to inspire mindfulness, presented by Nazy Saif of Quite Quaint, on Thursday 21st May.
Enhance your wellbeing and mindfulness at home even further with virtual workshops that will help to improve your sleep, a wide variety of yoga sessions that will enhance flexibility, strength and toning, plus pilates and ballet-inspired barre workshops. For entrepreneurs, there is a number of insightful expert sessions that will help with PR pitches, marketing, social media, presentations and HR.
For families staying at home, there are several fun classes for kids to get stuck into during week two of the free virtual workshops. Children can enjoy an interactive story time with books read by two adorable pugs, Millie and Maple, a kids’ macramé workshop, a cookie baking class brought to you by Le Pain Quotidien, plus an arty session using recycled crafts.
